FINALS:
1. STAR TREK PARAMOUNT 3,860 3,117,839 808 n/a 158,653,970
2. ANGELS & DEMONS SONY 3,527 2,947,014 836 n/a 57,491,814
3. X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE FOX 3,892 956,416 246 -44% 154,442,700
Star Trek is back in the #1 spot with 3.12 million. Star Trek dropped 7.3% from Tuesday.
For comparisons, "Iron Man" dropped 8.2% on its second Wednesday to $3.08 million, "Wolverine" dropped 10% to $1.71 million, and Batman Begins dropped 30.9% to $2.57 million.
The international take is up to $74,286,778, bringing the worldwide total to $232.94 million.
On an aside, Terminator Salvation made an estimated $3 million from midnight showings. Since Paramount apparently manipulated the numbers for Trek's opening, I'm not going to compare them.
