Star Fleet Technical Manual "Parts" for Bashing?

Hey --

Before I go through the trouble of creating some myself -- does anybody know if somebody has already gone in and created a bunch of starship parts based on the ship orthos in Franz Joseph's STAR FLEET TECHNICAL MANUAL, for use in cut-and-paste bashing?

For that matter, any fonts based on the handwritten data entry on those?

I believe "Schnaubelt" is what you want - basically - old school technical writing style fonts:

I stumbled upon this searching for the tech manual. It's an updated PDF for the manual with some coloration. I believe the page with the type face is on there.

This is something I was considering doing several years ago in vector form (AI, CDR, SVG), but also including the Constitution Class deck plans. I was told that people would not be interested in it, so I didn't pursue it. Kinda wish I had now.

Guess I'll need to find the time, now. Unfortunately, it won't be any time real soon.
