know its early days (not sure when the 'Into Darkness' title was revealed) but what do you think ?

heres some possibles. bearing in mind they've done away with the colon, although I guess they could bring it back no problem (I think they might have to )

-Star Trek Resurrection (unused FC title)
-Star Trek Assimilation (if its the borg)
-Star Trek Resistance (ditto)
-Star Trek Revolutions (due to the timetravel stuff)
-Star Trek: Boldly Go/New Worlds (perhaps the 50th ann could influence the title. they couldn't use Final Frontier or TATV or WNOHGB)
-Star Trek: The Next Frontier/The Last Frontier (a play on 'The Final Frontier'…plus its got a wild westy connotation)
-Star Trek: Planet of the Titans (heh imagine if Orci has dusted that one off!)

Star Trekking Across The Universe

Star Trek: Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft

Sharknado Trek

Star Trek Into the Wrath of the Undiscovered Country to Search for the Final Frontier Before Starting the Voyage Home: The Motion Picture. It's got a colon, but it's a nice homage to the past TOS movie titles.

Honestly, it would be kind of neat if they finally dropped "Star Trek" from the title.

Star Trek: Federation

Star Trek dreams Fulfilled

I swear Into darkness made no sense.

I have a secret desire they will name it Out to Light.

So the trilogy will be:

Star Trek
Star Trek Into Darkness
Start Trek Out to Light

'Cos that worked so well for "Enterprise". ;)

If it would have been compelling, they could have called it Bag of Crap and it would have still been more successful. The failure of the series had nothing to do with dropping "Star Trek" from the title.

In keeping with using "Star Trek" as part of the phrase rather than the title followed by a subtitle, I give you: "Star Trek to (the planet) Boldlygo...

With apologies to comedian Henry Cho. :)
