ST: TVH/T.J. Hooker missed crossover

Ok, so I’ve been watching a lot of T.J. Hooker since the quarantine started, and this got me thinking.
In T.J. Hooker, Adrian Zmed’s Officer Vince Romano left the show after season four, in 1985. There was no discussion or mention of Romano ever again.
TVH takes place in 1986, so when the police were chasing Kirk and Co. around the hospital, it would have been a perfect opportunity to make Romano one of those police officers.
It’s a fun little Easter egg, strokes Shatner’s ego a bit, gives Zmed a paycheck, and gives closure Romano’s character.

maybe I need to just stop watching T.J. Hooker...

TJ Hooker, Knight Rider, and the Fall Guy! Great family entertainment during an age when we had lower standards. I caught 3 episodes of Hart to Hart the other day. Stephenie Powers' hair definitely stood the test of time if nothing else.

I'm looking for extra snippets of Shatner dialogue for a fan edit. Let me know any episode where he says "Just like old times," please. :-D

If it gives you some solace, the punk on the bus in TVH reprised his role in the newest Spider Man film, thereby making Spider Man the same universe as Star Trek ;)

Looks like I need to see Spiderman again, that's awesome!

I just saw a season 2 episode last week called King of the Hill, with James Darren playing an old racing buddy of Hooker's (before he was Jim Corrigan). I think there might have been some sort of "Just like old times" type of dialogue in that one.
Good luck with your edit.

That's more information than I could have hoped for! Thanks!

Small correction: Kirk Thatcher appears in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first solo film with Tom Holland. The newest Spider-Man film was Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Bigger correction: "Spider-Man" is always spelled with a hyphen. Always. ;)
