ST:TNG Blu-ray Episode Guide Inserts - Season 1-7

I plan on doing one for each season as they're released. Proper size for printing should be 4.75 inches by 5.75 inches.

Wow! Would you mind posting that again in the OFFICIAL Season One thread since it is pinned. That way, it will remain readily available as long as the thread remains pinned.

Should pin this one. That way people don't have to dig through multiple pages to find the insert.

Done. Also, I made the drop shadows more distinct to make the text easier to read and changed the file format to PNG.

We don't like to overuse Stickies, otherwise you're scrolling through a bunch of them to get to anything new. Still, this is a great effort by a member that many people may want to take advantage of. I'll pin it until Season 2 comes out. If Maxwell Everett does as he plans, I'll drop this pin and stick the new one.

Okay, so you'd prefer I create a new Season Two Insert thread (when the time comes) rather than post the images in this thread? That's fine, I'll just include links back to previous threads for each season, that way people can still download the older ones without searching.

I like your idea better. I added "Season 1" to the title and will update it as new seasons are released and you create the inserts. That way, there is only one inclusive thread for people to visit.

It might be blasphemy to those who are anti-CG, but I seriously wish the Naked Now had replaced that old 80's FX with CG. The age of those distant-galaxy-FX was very glaring to me, especially in the theater.

^I don't think it is blasphemy to want to improve TNG with updated CGI graphics. TOS looks awesome with the new updates:bolian: I vote for more CGI enhancements:)

The TOS CGI was a mess of inconsistency.

The project is intended to restore and preserve the show as it was, not re-imagine it like TOS.

If they start doing to TNG bluray what they did to TOS, I will stop buying.


...and before anyone says it...I am NOT anti-CGI. I simply don't believe in re-envisioning everything to make it look uberkewl, just because we can. The effects are fine and they suit the show. The cases where they need to replace the effects are also fine, because that's just the way it is but if they don't have to don't do it.

Irrelevant, since TNG wasn't designed to be watched on a theater screen.
