Unfortunately Part 2 does not appear to have been uploaded to the Piercefilm Productions channel yet.

I have that whole documentary on DVD, but never got around to watching it. That was really dumb of me!

The V'Ger models look great! And that channel has so much more...

A great resource!
Nothing against Eves or Drexler, but if I had Bezos level money, I would have these guys do refit era ships till I went broke

Great video! V'Ger has to be the most underrated physical model in all of Star Trek history.

A few questions:

1. What model is that at the :10 mark?

2. At around the 17:00 mark, we see the TMP Enterprise saucer with a completely different bridge module than what was seen on screen. Is this the wooden bridge dome they mentioned in the video that was destroyed by water damage?

The bridge module was part of an earlier build of the model. It was looked at as not matching the aesthetic of the “Art Deco” nacelles and more modern lines of the ship, so it was removed and replaced with the one we’ve all grown accustomed to.

Thanks. As for my other question, I'm not sure that green ship is from a Star Trek production.

Fascinating to see the models as they are outside of the film fx shots. It’s crazy the Vger model was 50ft. long and yet we never got to see it onscreen.
