I was thinking if anybody ever thought of using the Crysis game engine? Crysis 2 has a game editor, Crysis2.sdk which they released...

With the animation suites available by Xtranormal State and Go!Animate, plus now Moviestorm, why would you choose Mechimina?

Star Trek Machinema

Anybody heard of the Crysis game engine? Well there's at least one variant that's publicly available for creating such a machinema.

I chose machinema out of the fact that manipulating a game engine is often easier than other 3D rendering software, and out of the fact that I don't know the capabilities of Xtranormal State, Go!Animate, and Moviestorm -- I didn't even know they existed.

I've done a quick search of Moviestorm and Go!Animate and their graphics don't look as good as Crysis. The idea is for something that looks as realistic as possible without requiring excessive computer processing power.

BTW: To the moderators, I forgot I posted this thread (please delete the new thread I just made)

I merged the threads before seeing this last post. Probably in the wrong order, as I've not done this before. :/
