ST Con in NJ

My husband and I will be attending the Creation ST con in Secaucus NJ next week. We live about 10 minutes away from the con hotel and were wondering if anyone here will be attending and may have any questions on what's in the area.

Hey, where are ya? I'm about 10 minutes away from the hotel right now too, working in Clifton.

We were planning on partaking in some sushi on Saturday night at a local restaurant. Any suggestions? Then closing the night out with the dessert party.

I don't know about sushi, but right up route 3 (west) is the Clifton Commons shopping center, with an Applebee's, a Chile's, Johnny Corino's, and the Shannon Rose. Every ethnicity except Asian.

We're in Union City.

I think there's a little sushi place at the Meadowlands Plaza in Secaucus. Also in that location there are: Burger King, Pizzeria Uno, Houlihans, Dunkin Donuts/Subway, Starbucks, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Chipolte Grill and close by an Outback Steakhouse. I know I missed some.

The hotel has a mini Starbucks in the lobby area (at least it did last summer).

Thanks to all for the tips. We investigated some and located a restaurant called "Niko Niko" I believe which is all but 5 min. from the hotel according to Yahoo maps. Maria, I do hope the Starbuck's is still in operation!

Bazooka's, you forgot Bazooka's.

It's the sports bar similar to Hooters but with better food.

There's an Olive Garden there too.
