SPY PHOTOS at AICN

Wohooo! VERY nice! Guess the 'net will explode within the next hours. Thanks for the link!

I like the fact that the color scheme is rather like the Cage's, and there are lots of physical controls. Looks like they are going all out.

Getting this out of the way.

Otherwise, I love the new oldness of it all.

Rat Boy, I thought that same thing. It's the landing strut and the high mounted nacelle.

Ok, now calmer now.

-Firstly, nothing here screams suck, so +1.

-I love the uniforms, and the hard-hat guys.

-I like the worn look, it makes it look less like a costume party and more like something that is real future tech. Dust exists in the future! Be warned!

-Love the look of the control panel.

-The shuttle thing looks kind of like some sort of cargo carrier/crew transport. The thing is huge! If that is a 'standard shuttle' the Enterprise'll have to be a bit bigger than it was before (fine by me). The number on the side "70172" might mean this is not a shuttle, or at least not an Enterprise shuttle though.

-Colors! YES! Take that, grey drab art design! Green interiors. Whew. Me happy.

Sweetness.

Eh. The shuttle interior looks incredibly rugged, low-tech and militaristic. More like Star Wars or <insert dystopian scifi action flick here>. I cannot believe this is supposed to be a Starfleet shuttle, representing a bright fresh future.

And if these are the uniforms - we have traded pyjamas for jogging suits. Give me form-fitting spandex any day, it is so much more sexy!

Edit: Still don't know what baffles me more - a 150m$ flick going for a 1970s home electronics look that looks even less futuristic than TOS (not as clean and elegant), or people actually liking this :vulcan: I still think this gotta be some borderworld flying PoS, not affiliated with Starfleet in any way.

And I look at and go, "Ok I can see that arising out of the tech we now have..." which I think serves the movie not to mention those being targeted far better.

No thanks the spandex look is so... meh.

Sharr

I have mixed feelings. I don't mind the "used" look, it would be a good change of pace, but the shuttle interior looks too "used". Of course we don't know any details about these pictures. This could be some old shuttle used for cadet training, and not the latest and greatest Starfleet shuttle model.
