Spoilers *Spoilers* The Lorca-Buran Theory

If that is true, what makes you think I'd want to hear spoilers beyond ep 9?

Please don´t be angry with me. It is a warning only.
It seems obvious that klingon war don´t finish with Kol´s death.
All this season is about the Klingon War.
No spoilers.
I just said that the Mirror stuff is not misdirection.

What if DSC has been set in MU from the first episode, and they ended up in our universe in the mid-season finale. The Klingon war and the behavior of Lorca and possibly others end up in the mirror universe we first met in TOS. Spock have no step sister, our Lorca died protecting his ship and if we're lucky the Klingons still look normal in our universe. Not very likely but I would have been interesting.

Uh except the fact none of the ships have ISS, and they’re in the federation. No Terran empire logos

So they made a plaque that says ISS Discovery for a prank?

On that subject. In the blurry image of "the plaque", it doesn't look like the Earth with a sword though it, but an upside down SF delta. Maybe it's just that blurry.

Do we know when the Terran Empire was established? There is a gap of around 10 years until the first encounter. Things going down-hill DSC from and then the federation is couped and replaced with the empire. I don't think it's very likely, but it would have been an interesting idea to start off in MU and an opportunity to "mess with canon" and then reset.

The Terran empire has existed since at least the 22nd Century

Burnham wouldn't have nerve pinched Georgiou to take the ship in the MU, she would have disintegrated her. Stamets would have spent some time in the agony booth for mouthing off to Lorca. Lorca would have just went ahead and killed Cornwell in bed. Or after bed. But at some point. A Vulcan admiral would be unlikely in the MU, as they are a subjugate people. There's no way they've been in the mirror universe. If it turns out they are in yet another reality, it wouldn't bother me at all, but the show staff have said it's Prime Timeline, and so far, apart from visual discontinuities, that holds true.
