Sorry, but MU saga is an integral part of this season. The Klingon War didn´t finish, only in the 15th episode.I kind of hope that Mirror stuff was misdirection.
Trust me, I know.

Please don´t be angry with me. It is a warning only.If that is true, what makes you think I'd want to hear spoilers beyond ep 9?
What if DSC has been set in MU from the first episode
So they made a plaque that says ISS Discovery for a prank?I kind of hope that Mirror stuff was misdirection.
Uh except the fact none of the ships have ISS, and they’re in the federation. No Terran empire logos

Do we know when the Terran Empire was established? There is a gap of around 10 years until the first encounter. Things going down-hill DSC from and then the federation is couped and replaced with the empire. I don't think it's very likely, but it would have been an interesting idea to start off in MU and an opportunity to "mess with canon" and then reset.Uh except the fact none of the ships have ISS, and they’re in the federation. Or they redesigned it

Ah. My bad. Forgot about ENT. Would have been fun though. Half season of stuff that didn't make sense here and there, and then a switch to our universe. The Terran empire has existed since at least the 22nd Century
