Spoilers: First Look At Artwork From 'Countdown To Darkness' Issue # 4

Re: Spoilers: First Look At Artwork From 'Countdown To Darkness' Issue

Interesting...

Our choices now are:

1. April is the bad guy and is helping the Klingons win the war but for whatever reason April wants to pretend that he is helping the other side. Why and for what purpose?

2. April is the good guy and the Klingons just put his face on the screen so they can say " this is the guy we need to kill". I think this is the most logical scenario. But I guess once the comics comes out and we see what that scene is about we'll know for sure.

I like how the captial city on Qo'nos looks just like it did in The Next Generation. Based on what we've seen in the trailers (with the K/S/U scout ship being chased by the Bird of Prey), I suppose they imagine that to be the very top layer of a gigantic machine city.

I really like it when they take something we're so familiar with, then add to it in such a way. Not quite a complete re-imagining. Something that could have been seen in "Redemption" had the cameras panned a different way and the budget been infinitely higher.

From the looks of it, I'm guessing the countdown comic will be establishing the Klingon villains, not Harrison. Good enough for me.

I like where this is heading. I've enjoyed the first two issues, and nary a mention of Khan.
