Spock's Brain. I gotta say, I'd have to place this in my bottom ten episodes of TOS. Sorry, it just didn't do anything for me.

Though, I think I laughed pretty loud when Spock sat up and his head wasn't shaved. I mean, of course they're not going to shave his head for an episode, but it was just funny how.....cheap.....it was.

Cheap? Not sure I'd say it was...it got it's own custom soundtrack...the rear projection screen during the pursuit of Kara...a new spaceship (Imorg ship)...

Being the debut episode of the Third Season, I doubt they were being cheap at that point.

Although, I do agree with you that it wasn't very realistically depicted with Spock's hair not even being mussed up -- or any physical indication that he was "sans brain"...

The budget for the third season was eventually cut but not at the beginning. However, you can tell there budget issues in mid-to-late season episodes where there was no location shooting and the episodes were completely set on the Enterprise...

My re-edit of two special effects shots from Spock's Brain...fixing one and modifying another...

The first one fixes the first appearance of the Enteprise in this episode with the terrible bluescreen work. The second replaces old stock footage with a third season shot of the Enterprise...
