Spock from TOS and Data from TNG are sexy?

This thread may seem trivial to some but I find myself attracted to both Spock and Data and wondered if anybody else on this forum felt the same way!

I've read various stuff on the internet about it being very normal (especially with Spock) and my sister seems to understand.....well anyway let me know if you agree or just think I'm absolutoy bonkers!

I don't know about Data, but Spock has always been a huge sex symbol. He's often credited with bringing large numbers of women into science fiction fandom back in the sixties and seventies . . . .

Oh yeah. Spock has always been a huge sex symbol for Trek female fans. I find him incredibly sexy.

I first watched TNG when I was about 12 or 13. I thought Riker (early, slim Riker) was hot, but I also always thought Data was kinda cute, and girls at my school felt the same. I know another Trek fan who says she had crushes on Data and Worf. I also remember a thread on Last.fm Trek group about sexiest Trek characters, and Data was up there with Spock as the guy with the most mentions. When I rewatch TNG now, I can see that Spiner really did look hot back in those days. And his body looked really nicce in the tight uniform.

Hell, there were rumors going around in my high school for years that I was gay..... I wasn't gay, I just hated all of the girls in my school and didn't find any of them attractive.... two very different things, and just because I wouldn't lower my standards like the rest of the clowns in my school, doesn't make me gay.... just very particular.

Anyway I was always of the understanding that Spock was actually one of the bigger TV sex symbols of his era, but I guess I could be wrong. Early photos certainly point to Nimoy being a good-looking cat.

hahah i totally agree........I practically drool at Data in his uniform but need the sick bucket if Wesley is around in that icky grey thing! Oh and I like Zachary Quinto Spock as well as Nimoy Spock =P

Okay I really don't like leonard nimoy the age he is now or brent spiner (as in their looks) as they are both old enough to be my grandfather ......or at least father in spiner's case!

It's just their personalities when they are the characters in the series.......and Spock and his eyebrow thing when he feels like showing emotion!

Oh and data is scary in Star Trek: Generations when he finally gets the emotion chip, but kinda cute at the same time =] "Mr Tricorder" LMAO
