Spock from TOS and Data from TNG are sexy?

Spock is H-O-T. Those ears are aaammmmaazzziiinnggg!!! Sure, Kirk is hot too, but Spock is all exotic and unassuming - because he's not after women (like Kirk or McCoy) it makes him more appealing, more unique and pure. When I first started watching Trek, Spock was my guy (still is).

Brent Spiner was (and is) very handsome, but I don't really find Data all that sexy. I don't know, he seems too innocent. He does have a good body, though. And his character is cute and adorable. He's one of my fav characters, especially on TNG, but I wouldn't rate him as one of the top Trek sex symbols.

Here's how I would (personally) rate Trek guys based on sexiness: Spock, James Kirk, Trip Tucker, Julian Bashir, Leonard McCoy, Reginald Barclay, early thin Riker, Malcolm Reed

Oh, I hate it when Data is all silly in the movies! It's so OOC. I've always hated "Mr Tricorder" - Data, WTF?

Oh, it's Spock all the way. His tall, slim, cool elegance, his intelligence and his deep dark chocolate voice all contributed to his yummy sexiness.

Spock (either Nimoy or Quinto flavors) is just about the sexiest character Star Trek has ever invented. Data is cute but sexy? Ehhhh.

Other notably sexy character include: Bashir, Trip, Dukat, Damar, Weyoun (cmon don't count Vortas out!) and new McCoy and I guess new Kirk, too.

Kirk IS hot, but he's too much of a man-whore to be as appealing as Spock. I always got the sense that Riker was supposed to be really hot, but I never really liked him much, especially when he gains weight and grows a beard. I never thought that Chakotay was supposed to be hot - I guess I just don't like his type.

Oh yes, Dukat is very sexy. That long neck, oh . . . my . . . god. And that voice, sweet Jesus. I was afraid to say so unless someone else put it because he's so evil and nasty!

Spock sexy? OH, YES. My love for the Spock character has lasted for decades. Most guys that post seem to think it was his coldness and unavailability that attracted female fans, but I so differ on that. I can remember enjoying his face and voice early on, but the real pull didn’t begin until the scripts began to show that he struggled with his emotions. Nimoy had such expressive eyes and managed to signal without words that Spock’s integration of his two halves was very imperfect and potentially volatile. The draw wasn’t that the female fan believed she was the only one in the galaxy who could reach his emotional core, but rather that she imagined herself being close at hand when the spores or virus toppled the walls and let out all that pent-up emotion and lust. WAHOO!

Are you kidding?! You must be new to the Star Trek world or something, otherwise you would know how many people find Spock sexy! Just go on youtube and you can find loads of fan vids dedicated to Nimoy/Spock. And while there aren't as many for Data, you can be sure there are lots of women who find Data sexy. I am one of them! ^^
