Supernatural casting scoop

Unlike last year with the writers' strike interfering with copyright permission for a "Jason" appearance, this year casting has been confirmed for episode 12, Criss Angel is a Douchebag. Barry Bostwick of "Spin City" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" fame will make an appearance in the episode to air January 22nd--if they don't mess with the episode order again.

...* Supernatural wins this year's Best Episode Title with the upcoming 'Criss Angel Is A Douche Bag.' Even better, the magician-centered ep, which airs Jan. 22, features "Hey, It's That Guy!" trio Barry Bostwick (Ugly Betty, Spin City), John Rubinstein (Angel, 24), and Richard Libertini (every show ever made, but most recently, Monk and Numbers)....

They confirmed at the con last weekend that the title has in fact made it past the network censors with the sticks up their butt--the same ones who wanted them to cut out the shot of the teddy bear trying to commit suicide and blowing his stuffing all over the wall.

Also, unrelated to the above news, it's nice to have confirmation in print that Misha Collins is sticking around.

Cool news about Misha (Castiel is a great support character). It is funny that Dean and Sam get away with calling the angels, "dicks".

I'm surprised that the Parents TV Council isn't all over Supernatural for that. Kripke must be so disappointed. Implying that God isn't all knowing and perfect, the liberties taken with the portrayal of angels.....of course, they haven't shown a nipple so I guess that's okay. Not a female nipple anyway. Sam and Dean showed plenty the last two eps. I'll bet those two gave the righteous God fearing women on the council a special feeling or two.
