Split between two halfs

The Quadrant is at war and as a half Klingon, half Human you feel honor bound to join in and fight for the cause. However, which alliance do you fight for? Why?

Can you please make sure if your interested that it cannot be any shorter than one paragraph - with a paragraph being at least five (5) full sentences in length. Please could you be content, thought process, and creativity for for this thread. However, thought process is the point that I most like to here.

Do you mean that the Federation and the Klingons are at war with each other?

If that were the case, I'd fight on the Federation's side. Even if I were a full Klingon. Unlike the Klingons, the Federation has things like ethics, social equality and hygiene that I like.

Guess it depends on why the two sides are at war.

Did the Klingons break the Khitomer Accords just so that they could return to 'the old ways' and try to invade the Federation for 'breathing room'? I'd be on the side of the Federation.

Have relationships between the two empires just broken down completely and now only naked aggression exists between the two? Most likely I'd fight for the side I was raised by.

It mainly depends on the circumstances of the conflict, and which culture I was raised by, since upbringing will undoubtedly influence who I'm more likely to be sympathetic too.

I'll fight for the side that the script says will win. Or has cooler-looking ships. Or ... oh crap, I don't know. Coin-toss.

Federation forever! Of course, being of pacifistic inclinations, I'd be one of those diplomats working to end the war.

Definitely the Federation. The Klingons are really just a bunch of thugs, and the Federation maintains an alliance with them because they'd be more dangerous as an enemy, or so I believe. The Federation believes in freedom, the Klingons live with an archaic, hypocritical system based on a bastardised notion of honour.
