Honestly, I think the idea behind that is kinda cool, but yeah, the actual execution of the trailer was pretty laughable.

Connors is Gwens boss at Oscorp

Actually we barely know the plot...the synopsis was just recent I believe. I'm actually kind of glad we won't be seeing Norman in this movie. I think he'll be a looming presence just because of the OsCorp location. We might see a picture or two. I think I've said from the start we would probably see him in the second film. @Cosmic Question...what the hell does Spock swimming in "The Voyage Home" have anything to do with Sony not owning the rights to Namor???

I'd imagine it's a reference to Zachary Quinto being a perfect cast choice for Namor

I don't know Namor since the '70s, but, I think Daniel Dae Kim could make an excellent Namor look as well (Consider Matheson with shorter hair from B5: Crusade)

But, yea Quinto looks like he walked straight off the page
