Spider-Man movie (casting, rumors, pix till release)

Jeez! Isn't it kinda early for a fracking reboot? <sigh!>
This is one of my problems with it as I've stated before. They should have rested the franchise for two or three years before doing a complete reboot. As I stated no one really knows who the rest of the cast is going to consist of because everyone has been concentrating on Peter.
This time out, I hope they call them The Amazing Spider-man and The Spectacular Spider-man etc. For one thing, it means that they don't have to call it Spider-man 4 - which would be somewhat misleading, given that it's a reboot, not a sequel.
And they've already managed to mess that one up.
There is no way they'll find anyone better to play JJJ or Aunt May than the 2 actors in the Raimi films. 
Is R Lee Ermey now too old to play JJJ? He was always my choice to play the role but I have to admit, JK Simons was pretty near perfect in it.

Yes. pick her please for MJ! I was totally sold after that singing number! For all I care her whole appearance in the movie can be singing scenes unlike Dunst. 
well, they needed to worry about casting Pete first to be able to cast people - particularly MJ/Gwen/Liz Allen/whoever's love interest this time - with him that work, like screen chemistry.
Oh I know why they needed to focus on finding the new Peter...he's the star after all and they'll be marketing the new trilogy around Andrew. I just found it amusing that the rest of the characters seemed to have been forgotten and was glad to find out they weren't, just by the media lol.
Nah it'd be called Spider-Man: Relaunched Returns: Origins Mega Trilogy!

I'd be all in favor of Sony going the Judi Dench route for Bond and using the same actors for JJJ and May.
And YES on Elena Satine for the MJ win, casting is over for that role.

Yeah I just read the HitFix article that Peter will be in college which makes me a little more hopeful. Originally they were gonna place this in high school. We still have the casting for the "mysterious villain" which may be entirely original or someone from the rouges it's not known yet.
