Speculation on Luke's role in TFA

Whoever he is, he's not Luke Skywalker. I don't know why people keep thinking that, but it's fucking everywhere. It makes no sense.

Well, as I said I haven't really been following the online chatter. I came to the idea as a result of a discussion with a friend relating to the fact Kylo Ren supposedly has a secret identity. We began speculating on who he could be, and suddenly the idea occurred he could be Luke based only on the fact that nothing about Luke's role has been revealed yet and there are rumours he's gone Dark Side. I then posted these thoughts to use the internet as a sounding board for these ideas.

The supposedly most reliable information at the moment is that
Kylo Ren (not his birth name, but a Knights of Ren identity he picked for himself) is Han Solo and Leia's son. Rumor is he kills Han after repudiating any familial relationship.

If this is true, then I wonder...

The trailers make it seem like this line by Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o) is being said to Rey, but of course this is probably misdirection. I wonder if she (Maz) is instead speaking to Kylo. He then kills her (the scene in the trailer where he slashes someone), and goes after Han? Or that scene is him chopping down Han.

Either way, intriguing. It beats the tired idea that Kylo and Rey are Luke's twins....
