Butters is disgnosed with multiple personality disorder. the boys want to help Butters find out what is really happening to him. Butters may not like what they find. I love butters episodes just as much as cartman's :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The twist was fantastic - I didn't see it coming at all but it was hilarious. And as usual, any scene with Butters was fantastic. The ep dragged a little bit in the middle (eg, the jewelry store heist didn't really work), but the beginning and ending more than made up for it.

My first thought at the end, when everyone agreed to let Lu Kim stay, was how reminiscent it was of the awful Skinner/Armin Tamzarian episode of the Simpsons....except here it actually worked.

I know other people disagree, but I don't think this season has really had a miss yet. Next week's probably the mid-season finale, I guess?

After celebrating his tenth birthday. stan begins to change his view of the world around him. as a result, he becomes ostracised by the other boys at school. Mean while "tween music" craze sweeps through a south park elementry.

don't forget new episode tonight.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well, this was the weakest episode of the first half of the season. Just too crass for me to find it funny. A couple of good laughs though, the biggest during Randy and Sharon's fight, strangely.

It wins points though for an excellent use of "Landslide" leading to a depressing ending, and actually making me genuinely care about what happens when the show comes back in the fall.

Also, I read they chose the Crack Baby Athletic Association episode as their Emmy submission for Best Animated Series. Probably not what I would have chosen...I would have gone with something from the Coon trilogy last fall.

I thought the whole episode was shit.:guffaw:No, I thought it was really funny. I'm glad they didn't shit on X-Men. They do have a point though and i'm not just bieng synacial.

After an incredibly lackluster season thus far, the show delivers a fantastic mid-season ender. I really loved the lampooning of "everything sucksism" as displayed in Stan. The ending was just so dark and very atypical of the show. That isn't meant as a negative. I love it when South Park does something unexpected and Stone and Parker break out of a comfort zone.

Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they return to the status quo by the end of the mid-season opener.

Wow. Aside from the amusing "Centipad" episode, I pretty much hated this batch of episodes. :( Very disappointing. So many crazy real-world issues going on right now and they didn't use ANY of it. And the ending of last night's episode was downright depressing. Not to mention the huge "fuck you" to the audience where Randy and Sharon stare at the camera and tell the viewer that they don't enjoy doing this anymore, the same ole week after week, and they want to quit.

^While I often turn to South Park to help me deal with issues in the world, I love the silliness of these episodes. They don't have to deal everything. Really, there's not much going on right now anyway. As far as "the big fuck you", I really don't blame them. I don't think it's the fans or even the characters or the show, I think this has more to do with Comedy Central and the grind of making the show. I believe they lI've the characters and the fans. I think they just get sick of making up recycled jokes. I personally think that they do a great job of coming up with new ideas. Unfortunately, this looks like they are going to use the second half to end the show. The only other explanations that it is another 3 parter and one big joke.

I don't understand their obsession with feces. All of the worst and/or most despised episodes have dealt either with that or farting (ie, Terrance and Philiop). Why do they seem to be the only people who don't get it?

It was a terrible episode other than the last 5 minutes. Then it got emotional in a depressing way. Thinking about it more today, maybe the time is right to end the series after the next 7 episodes. This season hasn't been all that great, I'm not rushing to see the episodes like I did in the past, and it does feel like the show is past it's prime. Still, the way they ended it last night was a great way to get me thinking and talking about it afterwards.
