I've actually become fond of stories featuring some of the adult characters as foils for the kids or as secondary stories rather than when they're just used as punchlines here and there. Mr. Mackey, Randy Marsh and to a lesser degree Cartman's mom are favorites.

Randy episodes are usually among the best.

Drunken brawling with pants around ankles... the search for Internet porn with it's explosive climax... bouncing around on his balls stoned out of his tree...

Randy is hilarious!

There are moments when one can see the remnants of a Stan in Randy. This show would a study in the ruination of dreams and the human tragedy...except that it's hysterically funny.
