NEW YORK, April 12, 2011 – The foul-mouthed fourth-graders of "South Park" are back for their 15th season with seven all-new episodes beginning Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.

On Tuesday, April 26, "South Park: The Complete Fourteenth Season" will be released nationwide on DVD and Blu-ray by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. In addition to all 14 episodes, the DVD and Blu-ray include mini-commentaries on all episodes by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, never-before-seen footage and deleted scenes.

I thought last fall's season was very strong. Unlike certain other long-running adult cartoons that have lost their edge (or never had one to begin with), South Park is still going strong...at least when the cowards at CC aren't censoring them for offending Muslims.

There can never be enough South Park. Thankfully the show continues to find relevance and excellence, though there are still duds occasionally.

A blog dedicated to analyzing in absurd detail a show he has apparently hated for over ten years; dude, just stop watching.

I love South Park and agreed, last season was awsome with the Coon sequels although I was disapointed in the third one slightly. Can't wait to see the new season and I can't wait foir another movie even though it won't come until South Park is over.

The deadhomersociety blog is one of the saddest things I've seen on the Internet since Enterprise was cancelled and the folks who'd dedicated their lives to criticize it moved on.

South Park, returning to the real subject at hand, is awesome. I just caught the one about Cow Day last night - Kenny pointing at Cartman lying face down in the snow and mumbling "Oh my god, they killed Cartman!" was priceless.

What characters are you dying to make a return appearance? I'm still waiting to see more of the Underpants Gnomes, and my ALL TIME favorite, the Crab People. Love their anthem!

And what the #$^% happened to Dr Mephesto? He hasn't appeared in like five years!

^Didn't Dr. Mephisto play a big part in the 200/201 episode last year, with the Muhammad controversy?

Anyway, as long as I get plenty of Butters, I'll be happy!

is it me or does each season seem to be getting shorter ?

also if there are any futurama fans out there series 5 came out this week.

I don't think the seasons are shorter as much as they are split into parts and aired at different times of year instead of the typical 13 (or in the case of networks 26) episides at a time.

Something else I'd love to see continued is the Go God Go! future universe. I really, really loved that two parter. Hell it could just have been one of the missing chapters between 1 and 12 when Cartman was living in the future.

I basically just love South Park most when it's some epic sci-fi/fantasy multi parter like Imaginationland or Go God Go.

I've actually become fond of stories featuring some of the adult characters as foils for the kids or as secondary stories rather than when they're just used as punchlines here and there. Mr. Mackey, Randy Marsh and to a lesser degree Cartman's mom are favorites. Every adult character in town is a loser/looney of one kind or another, and the ghost stalking the kids is that this will be their fate as grown-ups as well.

Yeah as the show has gone on other characters have really come into the fore. Butters and Randy I would consider to be as major characters as Cartman, Kyle, and Stan (notice I didn't say Kenny!).

Kenny has grown into quite a unique character, though.

I understand the criticisms of some folks that Stan and Kyle are too much alike, but the more I've watched the show the less true that seems to me to be.

Randy episodes are usually among the best.
