Am I the only one who didn't find this episode to be that hilarious?
Sure, it had a couple of laughs, but unlike Cartman, watching Kyle eat shit really doesn't do it for me
hehe, and granted, I'm not that familiar with American law, but surely they have something similar from Norwegian law that an agreement can't go against principles of good faith ("redelighet eller god tro"), but thats completely besides the point, because South Park is a cartoon that isn't supposed to make sense, or be realistic.
But still, I see how this episode could be funny, I just didn't find it funny.
Oh, and a question for those of you familiar with law, how binding are standard agreements / terms of services in the US? , Because here, they're not binding at all if they're hidden on the bottom of a long text, or made with small letters, if you reasonably shouldn't be expected to know what you just signed, then it's not binding. Whoever who wants to make an agreement has to make it real clear what you're signing on.
