Soundtrack: Torchwood: CoE

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but Ben Foster's score for Torchwood: Children of Earth came out last week (in North America) and it has a whopping 40 tracks.

I must say I wasn't listening too intently to the music while I watched the series, but next time on DVD I'll try to pay attention. But if it's half as good as the show it's complimenting, it should be worth a listen.

If anyone has listened to it, are there any stand-out tracks?

As much as I hate to say it, Ballad of Ianto Jones is quite good.

I love it...I posted a thread on it back in July when it came out in the UK. My dad was able to send me a copy of it. Both Torchwood soundtracks have been tremendous IMO.

Yeah, the 30-second snippet I listened to on iTunes sounded pretty good indeed.

It was good, no doubt about that, and there are a few tracks (judgement day being the most) that stand out, but on the whole, not in the context of the episodes themselves, it is rather lacking.

Not as good as the Torchwood soundtrack, but still not bad.
