Would anyone happen to know how the sound effect was created for the TOS transporter, originally used for the Talosian singing plant? It's a wonderful sound, and could listen to it for hours!

I always found it kinda eerie and spooky.

I guess that's perfect sound for an alien landscape though.

They re-used it quite a few times for alien landscapes 'wind' sounds, often quieter. Whenever I hear it, I keep thinking someone is transporting.
