Cool Spider-Noir featurette focused on its four primary villians: Silvermane, Sandman, Tombstone...and Megawatt?! Who the hell is Megawatt?! While I appreciate giving a D-Lister a moment in the spotlight, why not just use Electro?

The video is part of a big "cover story" on IGN:https://www.ign.com/articles/spider...-look-at-the-shows-sandman-tombstone-and-more
All the article says about them using Megwatt instead of Electro, is that they're using Megawatt instead of Electro, so I'm not sure if there was a deeper reason. I was wondring if maybe they weren't able to use Electro is because they're going to use him in a movie or something. but we're getting Tombstone in both this and Brand New Day, so they're obviously not afraid two productions at the same time.

To be fair, CinemaCon isn't intended for the public.
Yeah, I get that but it's still annoying knowing all of this footage is out there and we aren't getting to see it.

Marvel will be releasing a prequel comic called Spider-Noir #1. which will be free and only available and cons and other events where they'll be promoting the series. Like the show it will also be offered in black and white, and color versions.

It wasn't that long ago that even the big Comic Cons had mostly exclusive footage that didn't show up online, until people online acted all entitled and threw a tantrum that the big studios decided to just put the footage on YouTube, too.
And those are fan conventions, that footage was supposed to be seen by fans. Cinema Con is a business convention. The target audience isn't fans, it's theater owners who are shown footage to convince them to book these films, and that the films provide an experience that will create good word-of-mouth and keep them coming back, that these films will sell lots of tickets and are good for the theaters' business. They sometimes screen full movies at Cinema Con for that purpose.

What I'm saying is, yeah, right now you're pissed, not so much that you didn't get to see it, but that somebody else did and you heard about it. Relax, the movie's coming, and in the long run, you'll find it didn't really matter whether you saw that particular footage online before-hand. Just be patient.

This looks really promising. I thought it would just be a one off short movie like Werewolf by Night but it'll be a whole show and i'm here for it.

Spider-Noir looks kind of interesting, but it's incongruous to see a man in his early 60s doing big acrobatic stunts like that. Maybe Cage is past the age where he should've played this character in live action, although I suppose there was less chance this show would have gotten made except as a vehicle for him.
