Songs You Never Want to Hear Again

Well, never been a huge fan, but they do have some excellent songs, and popular music would be vastly different, and maybe not as exciting, without them.

Heard another prime candidate yesterday in the supermarket - "Electric Dreams". I wanted to dump the shopping and flee.

^ with nu metal, you mean the growling vocals? NEVER wanted to hear them in the first place.

Hey, you punks! Get off my lawn!

(I'm sounding older every day...)

There are many among you who deserve to die with fire, the OP included!

Infidels!

Edit: It was a quote from a journalist (not your co-worker, Orac ;) ) who said once "AC/DC made ten albums that sound the same". Angus Young replied "False, we did eleven albums that sound the same!"

I feel the same, about Metal and most rap/hip hop.

I'm only 19, but I get called an "old man" all the time.

"She's One in a Million Girls"...I hate this song, why would I lie?
She's A Beauty by the Tubes?? Belongs in the Louvre for classic awesome. Plus I saw them perform it live with girls in bikinis chasing a bunch of ETs around the stage, so there

Yep them. Thankfully a lot of them I don't hear, as I only listen to one station through living in many cities in Australia, but after around 15 years of listening to them. They are the still best station as fat as I am concerned in Newcastle.

Eh, to each their own. However tasteless. :p

Whoever said it first, it's spot-on. IMO, anyway. :D

Time to move across to ABC Local radio (702 in Syd), Radio National or ABC News radio (630 in Syd). ;)

I'm quite happy with listening to my itunes collection when I want to listen to music. Only time (well most of the time) I listen to triple j is in the morning.

That reminds me--I need to buy a new iPod Nano. 4GB just isn't cutting it any more.

Afternoon Delight...

I worked a job where someone else always had the radio tuned to a station that played this song every two hours. The work was in a clean room with a lot of chemicals. Every time the song would come on I would wonder what it would be like to breathe in some of the cyanide dust we used to mix a bath for our 2nd stage resistor production.
