Saw it last night at the AFI - hysterically funny at moments and quite touching, occasionally scary if just a bit too pat in the last few minutes.

I saw it last week at the AFI theatre out in Silver Spring (ended up being a double feature with Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, to boot).
Suffice it to say, I loved it. It did everything Be Kind, Rewind tried to do, but without becoming to sappy or cheesy, and without jokes that fell flat. I even thought the final minutes were touching. It's not like the whole town came out to watch his crap movie (see: Be Kind, Rewind). They just attached it as a funny short to another film, and, as we find out when the camera moves across the room, the theater isn't even filled!).

One of my favorite moments is the French kids back on the bus and the last shot of Didier. 
The teachers having fun with the flying dog was great, too.
