Something I noticed in Star Trek 3

Was watching this today and in one scene (below) you see Kirk toast to absent friends.

No Spock, Bones of Scotty in the pic which have all passed in real life, as has Yeoman Rand.

abit similar to a while back realizing Kirk Chekov Scotty destroyed the Ent.. then appear again at the start of Generations (to destroy the TOS film series)

Oddly in an episode of the original series the 3 now dead members shared a scene where they were having a drink.

Pretty poignant. George Takei still lives in California, too (Los Angeles, though, not San Francisco). And he seems to be doing okay. Shatner, at 89, still seems to be full of life and is quite remarkable for his age. Not sure about Koenig. He does look older without his hairpiece, but what an articulate man. And then there's Nichelle. Poor Nichelle. She evidently isn't doing so well these days...

Someday, we'll be saying the same about Frakes, Dorn, Burton, and Sirtis.
