Look at Ops and Nav from over the shoulder of Riker. Ok

1. Those consoles push out right? I can barely picture it in my head but i seem to recall the sound effect too. Still...

2. What is up how weirdly cramped up the arms are, and

3. Even when those panels push out, it makes it look fairly difficult to get out of that chair. Especially if you ARNT an android and you've been sitting there for 8 hours*

*Again, the genius of Jellico and his 6 hour shifts.

They'd be allowed breaks for food and to go to the bathroom, also given its the 24th century I'd assume the chairs are designed with state of the art functions to alleviate stiffening of muscles or soreness during their shift.

Still, lack of months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds, and nanoseconds from Data counting his age aside, the McCoy scene was charming...

I'll bet Riker's curiosity of wondering what THE **** Worf is talking about with his weird description of what Data was doing (sheeesh TNG writers) was tempered given he JUST got on the ship and screaming "The HELL are you talking bout?? Are you always going to be like this Lt.??" would give a bad impression.
