Somebody gave my ex an airplane

I got a message on Facebook this morning from my best friend that his ex won an airplane last month.

I also dated her once (first actually) but he's the one she caused all kinds of heartache for. Anyway, I was watching the videos on that site and was actually happy for her. Then there's a part where you can here her mother's voice and I got chills (the bad kind)

Anyway, what are the odds that he follows this sweepstakes contest for a year and they give the plane to his ex girlfriend? He's not bothered really. She flys a free Piper Archer II and he gets paid to fly a free F18. Still... what are the odds?

This chick once told my wife that we needed to be better friends to said best friend. Later we learned that when she said this she was cheating on him. She was also wearing a "promise ring" for him that she bought herself and self-declared it to be a "promise ring."

Still, all of that is downright sane and level-headed compared to her mother. *shudders again*
