Some Kelvin Kitbashing

So, my DSL was down most of the weekend, so I was able to focus my attention of something I was thinking about. I saw a pic someone made of the Kelvin, kitbashed into an "Enterprise" like shape.

So, I came up with this...

And some wallpaper....

It looks good, I think. I think I am going to build a Dreadnought style one next.

I didn't really, the idea was that is was a little underneath the other ship, since it was the focus. They aren't parallel.

I did scale up the secondary Hull, but about 10% or so, just because it looked too puny in the configuration it was in...

I like that fairing behind the bridge module going back to the impulse, and the "Constellation" idea.

Maybe so, but in the orthos it looks a little "clunky". I suppose some really like that look.

Damn! LOL I forgot to suggest a dreadnaut configuration.
Very cool.
One other thing that came to mind, that tiny, barely seen ship below the
space dock, reminded me of those original reliant configurations, sort of a spade-shaped body, with the nacelles sticking up.

(I suppose that ship may be a newer design generation...maybe parts from your Enterprise?)
