True, although it seems to get more attention nowadays. I disliked it for some time because some of the rock tunes sounded very trite to me, still do, in fact. I'm thinking of "Again and Again and Again" (which in itself isn't such a bad song, there's a pretty good acoustic version by Denny Laine out there but the album version is pretty bad) and "Spin It On". They still sound like 'trying to hard' to me. But most of the other songs are among my favourites, so while it's a bit uneven, I'd rank the album pretty highly, too.
