Soji?

Soji has hardly been seen in either trailer. Do you think she dies? Or do you think she will have a different storyline than the rest? She was a very important character in season 1. Forgive me if this was brought up in another thread I am to old and lazy to go through every thread.

Normally, the trailers show maybe two episodes worth of scenes ... still plenty of time to bring in Soji.

I figure they are holding her back for a reason, some plot twist or other that they don't want to spoil. Like how the S1 trailer was all about Dahj, who died in the first episode, and didn't even hint that Soji existed.

Soji was in the first trailer, mind, although it was very much a 'blink and you'll miss her' shot.

Unless I'm missing something, wasn't the scene with Soji set in 2024? It makes me wonder if she goes back with the crew and is key to "fixing" things.

I was watching Trekculture on Youtube discussing the new preview and they mentioned maybe the reason they didn't show Soji in the latest trailer is beacuse it would spoil some major story plot for season 2.I'm curious that they showed her briefly in the first 2 trailers and not the latest one either.

Yeah, the first thing my roommate said after we watched the recent trailer was "does Soji just not exist anymore?" Thankfully, that's not the case.

Just a wild guess but Data's ancestor is holding her captive and studying her because she is a android and maybe that plays a role in the future going bad.

It would be funny if they ran into an ancestor of Soji's that looks just like her ... just like the Soongs.
