    What plot hole? The "point" Major Grin allegedly made was that Soji's signal may have accidentally trigged the damage Picard's brain suffered from being assimilated and have been what killed him. Others pointed out that that's not necessarily the case. The canonical evidence is inconclusive. That's not a plot hole.

    I have seen some extremely well thought out, internally consistent theories from him that have brought my attention to minutia i would have never noticed or indexed on my own. He's not mean spirited for the most part, and as far as i can tell, isn't nitpicking out of hate but out of inconsistencies, and some times, for humor. I don't understand the hate.

    It's not funny. It feels very mean spirited and if it's not its used by others in argument to illustrate mean spirited points.

    Yeah, Major Grin is just another click-chasing asshole on YouTube. A proclivity for nitpicking doesn't make someone smart, and he's not.
