So, who played the "Happy Meals" Klingon?

I'm friends with one of the actors who played a Pizza Hut Klingon. 
I'm not sure if I trust the fast food recommendations of people who eat Targ and Gaah.

That commercial was my introduction to the new "forehead" Klingons (the first few viewings I thought he was just wearing a helmet), as well as the first time I'd ever heard Klingonese. I believe it was also the first McDonald's Happy Meal ever released. Once again, Star Trek made history.
I keep checking here hoping to find out who the actor was...

I'm kind of curious how much KFC blew on the rights to the characters and likenesses. That must have been their most expensive ad, at least that year.

Was this the public's first exposure to the "new" Klingon? I wonder what Trek fans watching this commercial initially thought?? So interesting, considering context of the time!
Wow, very good imitation. I would totally watch fanfilms with those guys and that set. Did they get the actual actors to provide voices??? If not these are awesome impressions. Very impressed and a little confused after watching that one lol.
In the comments Tim Lounibos, who played Sulu has given some tidbits shedding some light on this oddity:
- I was Sulu. I don't think you'd want to bring back the commercial's original cast because we made this 20+ years and many pounds ago. ;-)
- The voices were from the original cast members.
- Oscar winner Matthew Mungle and his team created the prosthetics used to make the actors look like the orignal crew.
- It was for worldwide distribution (not in the U.S.). The original set designer created that set -- first time since the series. Made back in '93 or '94, I think.
Quite fascinating! And according to his imdb he voiced a part in 2001's Star Trek: Away Team videogame and even was Lt. Daniel Kwan in TNG's Eye of the Beholder!!
