So where do I begin?

Yeah, I didn't think much of the invasion series at all. The TOS one was just about readable, but hardly a good book. And that was the best of them.

I found the DS9 entry, Time's Enemy, to be one of the best, if not the best, pre-relaunch DS9 books. I normally do not like the stuff from L.A. Graf, but this book outdid itself. Plus, it works well as a standalone, without having to rely on the other three books. Very engrossing book. :bolian:

The rest of the series, however, was next to unreadable. :ack:

The Charting the Novelverse thread is not very clear on 'A Singular Destiny'- are you meant to read this before or after Losing the Peace?

It doesn't matter that much, since they're mostly independent stories. But it's probably best to read ASD first, since the epilogue of LtP spoils it a bit.

Done and downloaded into eReader (the amazon kindle webapp seriously makes it waaaay too easy to download book after book). Thus ends my post-Destiny hiatus from Trek Lit. I'm back, babies. :bolian:

I would suggest checking out the novels based on Enterprise (except for "Last Full Measure") since they are simply better than any of the TV episodes aside from LFM (which takes place at the beginning of Season 3 and really doesn't do anything).

But I would also recommend all the Voyager books, including the Janeway Young Adult Trilogy that was published for children about when she was at the Academy.

Also the TNG Academy books are simply marvelous, especially the first three books that were written by Peter David that contain Soleta, McHenry, Kebron and Tobias along with Worf, while they were at the Academy before the New Frontier series debuted.

Any reading order that matters a lot is covered in the flowchart in my signature.
