My short list.

September 22nd - Halo 3:ODST

September 29th – Dead Space: Extraction (Wii)

October 6th - Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

October 20th - Borderlands

October 27th - Alpha Protocol (maybe, gotta hear more)

October 27th - Rogue Warrior

November 10th - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

November 17th - Assassin's Creed II

November 17th - Left 4 Dead 2

December 8th - The Saboteur (maybe, gotta hear more)

A co-worker was asking me this just today and I was kind of stumbling for an answer. The only ones I can say with certainity that I will get is COD:MW2, GTA IV:Liberty City Stories, Ratchet and Clank.

I had originally planned to get Halo 3 ODST but since I'm rapidly losing interest in most online gaming, I'm not sure it's worth the price as from what I hear, the single player campaign is pretty damn short. GTA IV might have the same problem.

Operation Flashpoint sounds like it would be up my alley but I have to see more to know for sure.

October 6: Alpha Protocol
October 13: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
October 20: Borderlands (I'll probably wait a couple months for this, though)
November 3: Dragon Age: Origins
November 10: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
November 17: Assassin's Creed II

Far, far too many games.

Dirt 2
WET
COD:MW2
Forza 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Uncharted 2

I'm trying to clear out some of my old games right now to make room for the fall/winter deluge. :)

9/14: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Fall/Winter: New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Dragon Age: Origins
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Assassin's Creed II
Left 4 Dead 2
Bayonetta (whenever they finally pick a date)

I know I'm forgetting something else too...

Not sure. The only game I'm remotely interested in this year is the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins, but I may not get that either depending on reviews. In 2010, there will be Mass Effect 2 ... that's about it.

tbh i was little surprised by the decision to move forward with left 4 dead 2 so early on. L4D 1 seems hardly complete with only a handful of campaigns. I hope they continue adding stuff to it.

Can't wait for operation flashpoint 2! the first one was a game ahead of its time.

Must Buy List...
GTA IV Liberty City Stories
Assassins Creed 2
Batman - Arkum Asylum (buying it next week)
Perfect Dark Arcade

Maybe List...
Operation Flashpoint 2
COD Modern Warfare 2
Alpha Protocol
FIFA 10
The Saboteur

Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Borderlands, Batman Arkham Asylum, Halo ODST... though I won't actually buy them until like a year from now with my track record :p

CoD: Modern Warfare 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Uncharted 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Operation Flashpoint 2

Wow, there's a lot of sequels out this year.

Also looking forward to Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Aliens Vs Predator, and DC Universe Online next year.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
God of War Collection
Left For Dead 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Lots of games I want, I'll only list the ones I'm pretty much 100% sure I'll be buying on day 1:

Scribblenauts
Left 4 Dead 2
New Super Mario Brothers Wii
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Perfect Dark XBLA
Alpha Protocol (maybe, have to see some reviews first but looks interesting)

I'm most looking forward to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves followed closely by Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. I'm sure I'll pick up a bunch of other games as well though.
