So the twist to the story arc this series is...

To those of you who guessed that the Mystery Woman is actually Jenna Louise Coleman, congratulations, you win a cigar.

To those of you who guessed that said Mystery Woman dies in her first appearance, you're either a big fat liar and if not can I please have next week's winning Lottery numbers.

Told you so!

Technically she did die- turned into a Dalek and then blown up with the rest of the planet...

Not necessarily.

Suppose Oswin's Dalek casing has the same teleport abilities as the Cult of Skaro. Oswin, because she's wired into the Dalek computer net, knows where the Doctor is teleporting to. She knows when the shields are going down because she has to shut them off. She's powered up, so she could have enough energy to make a teleport of her own to the TARDIS. Then it's a question of what the TARDIS would do with a Dalek. Drop her in a Zero Room, maybe?

Unless the Doctor made a new one the TARDIS' zero was deleted in Castrovalva. Of course if he could make a new they need never have gone to Castrovalva in the first place.

Crap. This is the part where I have to stop visiting this forum for a while. I hate that I can't see the new episodes!

Why does she have to be dropped into the zero-room..she could just come into the tardis like anyone else would..and I think since the Doctor teleported by the coordinates..she would drop into the same coordinates they did..and THEN be thrown away into the zero room..the Doctor would see the other transporter beam..

And I am quite sure that the Doctor will meet her in the past..and even if he doesn't..it's always nice to have a Dalek companion in the Tardis, right?

Don't look at me, it makes no sense to me either.

Spoilers for Asylum...

Maybe it won't be arc heavy but there seems to be something of an arc. I mean, we have the Daleks asking the big question at the end: Doctor Who? So the overall arc is still in play, possibly just slightly on hold.

She could have simply teleported to the Dalek parliament and covered her tracks.

Or she really is dead.
