So the Trek XI Actors Keep Going to the Millions of World Premieres

Trekmovie.com keeps reporting the millions of premieres around the world that various Trek actors & JJ keep attending. For example, there has been Australia, Russia, UK, etc. My first thought was, these actors are sure going to lots of premieres (I know the actors keep rotating). Don't they have any acting jobs to do? I hope they are getting paid for attending all of the premieres. I am assuming that it would have been written into their contracts. Can you imagine doing a movie for a studio and then them adding premiere upon premiere that you had to attend?

Well, press junkets where the actors go around the world are nothing uncommon. They happen for most big movies. The only thing I can say about this film is that most of the Actors arent huge names and arent in demand as such. Also due to the LONG time since the film has been shot, im sure most of the actors have had time off and gone to another job since.

Also, because were sad Trekkies weve been hanging on every word they say whereever they say it. That probably makes it seem worse

That's what actors do. Make movies and promote them. Nothing terribly unusual here.

I'm sure that there are people who keep all of the scheduling straight, so that the actors can continue to work and make all of the Trek event appearances.

I hope they are getting paid for attending all of the premieres. I am assuming that it would have been written into their contracts.

A pretty standard contractual obligation, promo tours like this.

Getting paid to watch yourself be awesome on the big screen infront of a bunch of easily impressionable fans with free coke and popcorn.
