so star trek exists in stargate.

Star Wars definitely does, not sure about Dr Who. I know they were going to do a gag in Atlantis where Ronon was watching BSG on TV and turns to say to Sheppard "We should help those people". Then as he's explaining TV to Ronon he comments on how TV shows people with more exciting lives than their own, although BSG isn't as exciting as their lives.

Not sure if it was cut for time or just because it's a blatant piss take :rommie:

I think Doctor Who also exists in Stargate

I remember hearing somewhere that some props from the TARDIS interior in the 96 telemovie were seen among the Ancient relics in Glastonbury in the Avalon two parter. So who knows, maybe the Ancients met the Time Lords at some point?

RDA played himself in a Simpsons episode. It was mostly McGyver-centric but there were a good number of SG references as well.

Ah.

In the Star Gate universe, that ep of the Simpsons simply used another StarGate-like show.

For example, when they Simpsons does a parody of Star trek 12: So very Tired, in the Trekiverse, they probably had a Galaxy Quest parody instead.

Wormhole X-Treme.

Although one has to wonder the status of MacGuyver. It's obviously a show in the Stargate verse. In Children of the Gods Carter says they had to "MacGuyver" a super computer on Earth to dial the Stargate, and there's an Atlantis episode where McKay gets frustrated as says "who do you think I am, MacGuyver?" I wonder if anyone every commented on the resemblance between O'Neill and MacGuyver?

Without that defining golden mullet, there is no resemblance

"Y'know, Colonel Simmons does look a lot like an older version of Q from Star Track, but the singularity is about to explode, so maybe I'll comment on it later."

They actually talk about Star Trek in Stargate Atlantis.

Rodney said that Major Sheppard was Captain Kirk.

You know, always scoring with the beautiful alien women.

Poor Rodney!

The big question is: does stargate exist in stargate? Carter must watch the show inorder to know the tune which she hums in that season 7 episode...

These threads make me laugh. I remember someone freaking out because Dr Who had been referenced in Eastenders, and Eastenders had been referenced in Dr Who, which was apparently just plain wrong...

Freaking out would be a bit strong.

Its just something that pushes the sillyness a bit further.
Army Of Ghosts doesn't only feature the Doctor watching Eastenders (with Jackie Tyler a fan) but the two of them then travel to Torchwood HQ where two of the staff were recent ex-Eastenders!

Then over on Eastenders you had the Branning Girls talking about the Battles In Times cards. Technically their mother would have a card, being Lynda in Bad Wolf.
