So Sesame Street is suing over adult muppet film.

Ugh--something that could have been well done but this trailer makes other Melissa McCarthy comedies look PG in comparison.

Still, no lawsuit there and I am sure it will find an audience.

This movie looks like trash, but any similarity at all to Sesame Street is clearly parody and falls distinctly under fair use.

I will not be watching this trash, but it has a right to exist.

The issue wasn't fair use, Sesame Workshop just didn't want them using the nsesame, all street tagline because they didn't want people to think they were associated with it.
The article I read specifically said that they did not want to prevent the movie's production or release, they just wanted them to change the marketing.

Yeah they should just cut that pat of the trailer out, no big deal.

After watching the trailer I need to date a puppet.
