Got ya all beat. As of the 23rd of May I have been here for 10 years and have only posted 1,724 times.

Whats scary is the fact i've been a member for 10 years! 10 years! My longest relationship....

But some of you must have lost post counts in the Great Purge. There was also a time (a few months?) when posts in Misc and TNZ didn't count towards one's total count.

I have a post count of 20,514 but i think in fact I have posted at least 3,000-4000 more than that. I lost about 2,000 in the Purge.

I have been a member of Internet Infidels (now known as the Freethought and Rationalism Discussion Board) and or nearly 8 years and have only post 545 times but I mainly only lurk there.

They do the chat in a thread thing, where they make it all conversational with less content and can post ten times back and forth in less than five minutes.

It's a lot of this.

The posts basically turn into IMs.

I probably only lost about 500 or so posts in the Great Purge. I've been a fairly consistent poster over the last 9 years (averaging 4.21 posts per day).

It's true. I lost about 1500 posts and my original account, registered in 2003, in the Purge. It took me a while to get over that, actually... I was fond of that account.

Well, my recommendation to people who want to boost their post count is to go into avatar contests and comment on the entries. I'm not kidding. It's legitimate to do so and you can also vote when the time comes and then post that you voted.

I'm serious. Check it out!

There was a time when lounges didn't count either, if I remember. But that was before my time. I lost around 2,000 in the purge.

Most of my posts are lounge based.
