So are there any fans of the Kingdom Hearts games out there?

I was wondering if there was anyone who was a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series of games around here.

I started playing the first game but I found the controls to feel extremely stiff and unnatural so I stopped playing. A shame because I was looking forward to all the Disney/Final Fantasy worlds and characters.

Same. For years everyone had been telling me how amazing they were, so I finally picked up the first game in the spring. Put in maybe 10 hours or so before I got too fed up with the awful controls/interface to continue. Haven't pulled it out since. I was pretty disappointed too cuz the story and characters were fun.

The gameplay itself isn't that great (though they fixed a few problems in KH II), I just play for all the voices and to see all these characters interact. Plus Donald is fucking hilarious.

I enjoyed both PS2 games, and I've picked up the DS game but haven't had a chance to play it yet.

My hope for the future of the series is that Square Enix releases Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Wii and includes Nintendo characters and worlds along with the Disney ones, and maybe even throws in Chrono Trigger as a world for good measure.

This is me too. I've played a little of KH II, but I really couldn't get into it.
