Snoopy still boldy going...

Weren't most of the other LM ascent stages crashed into the Moon for the benefit of the seismometers left of the surface? I think only the Apollo 9 and 13 ascent stages ended by burning up in Earth's atmosphere. I think we can discount the LM descent stage-derived solar telescope mount on Skylab. I stand willing to be corrected.

ETA: Can also add the unmanned Apollo 5 LM to the list.

Yep, you are right. But the point still stands, the Apollo 10 module is the only one still out there, still flying about. And it had a crew in it.

Those two facts have an enchantment about it, at least for me.

Still flyin'...

I imagine it returns to the vicinity of the Earth-Moon system every now and then. Merely locating it is going to be an interesting exercise in itself. I guess someone with silly amounts of money to blow could devise a method of docking a small rocket with it and returning it to Earth orbit. It would be even more expensive to return it to the surface in one piece.
