Yeah Kryptonians are stripped of their powers in the Zone as mentioned it's basically being like on Krypton except it's another dimension. This is why Mon-El is warden of the Zone because his Daxamite physiology is different from Kryptonians. I've decided that I'll probably watch this episode. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it seems. I know that's wishful thinking.

This ep would've been a perfect opportunity to bring back Phil Morris as John Jones. It's a pity that this final season will pass without us getting one last show with our favorite Martian.

"Who told you to touch the red kryptonite? Did I tell you to touch the red kryptonite?"

I'm sad that I can no longer make that joke. ;) Don't know why they never brought him back for the final season.

I'm definitely going to miss the chats. They've been more entertaining than the episodes this season.

I'll still miss Smallville though. It was always a fun show to watch to wind down my college/work week. And I'll give them a compliment...despite losing virtually their entire regular cast, they always managed to replace them well. Probably because the show always retained its main character, even thought Clark was a douche. And Chloe was there almost the entire run. But the people they brought on did a good job and seemed to fit with the show.

Let me crack an early joke here...

General Zod: "Why did you have me banished, Kal-El? Is it because I'm not SEX-AY enough?!"

Sorry, I really need to be doing a Callum Blue voice impersonation to pull that one off. ;)

I'm with trekker the washed out colors are bumming me out. I miss the bright primary colors from the old days.

It's really amazing how much the show has changed on a cinematography/color level over the last 10 years. Watch any episode from the first few seasons and then an episode form the last few seasons and the difference is night and day.

You are sooo right. I find it weird that now that everyone has a bright shiny costume the dull the color level. Still love the show though.

Well, Oliver's appearance was abrupt. I guess he just really wanted to wrap his arms around Clark.

Clark is acting like a douce again. Lois, nothing says white trash better than a White Snake pillow in the living room.

General Slade upon waking up...

"Where the frak am I?!"
