Luthor would and he most certainly did when it was just a matter of curiosity. How hard would it be to give every one on earth super powers while simultaneously making the planet uninhabitable to ALL (powered) Kryptonians?

No, it'll be a "Valentine" to the fans who put up with it for 10 years. It'll feature Kristen Kruek and Ally Mack returning to the show and drop that they were Lesbian lovers. Lois will be killed and Chloe will take her name in honor of her fallen cousin. Clark will be ditched in the middle of nowhere except for a pair of blue long johns, a pair of red underwear and a red towel.

Then we'll see Lex in a control room laughing. "All is going as I have forseen."

I have a feeling (or delusion) that since everything after 10x17 (the Booster Gold episode) has yet to be revealed, that everything from10x18 to 10x22, will be the big Superman reveal (that Booster Gold might be the final nudge Superdouche needs to finally man up), the return of Lex, the arrival of Darkside, all in a big five part story.

I have nothing to base this on, and lets face it the PTB's have done little to give us any reason for faith, but here's hoping.

We will see it for 30 seconds as he fights Darkside. They will not wrap the show up in perfect way, but it will be better than Enterprise.
