News Smallville complete series finally coming to blu-ray

I really confused by this whole conversation right now.
In the real world Allison Mack joined a celebrity sex cult where she would keep men in cages and they would give her all their money. Sounds fun? But if you really wanted to be owned by Allison she would brand you with a hot poker and then you would have the word Allison cooked into your rump forever.

Her nickname is therefore "Brando" because of the branding.

But in the world of Superman, when you talk about a person called Brando, Allison is not the first Brando that comes to mind and misunderstandings can happen.

OK, I heard about the whole NXIVM thing, I just wasn't aware of the whole branding &"Brando" part of it.

FYI, Guy's version isn't very accurate (whether deliberately in Guy's-own-world fashion or otherwise). For one thing, men weren't the cult's victims/targets, at least not primarily. Also, the branding wasn't done on the buttocks, the brands didn't say "Allison," and nobody was kept in cages AFAIK. If you want the real story, Google around a little, there's plenty of info about it.

I think it's extremely healthy that I haven't researched this issue scrutinously.
