Smallville and Meteor rock

I was just thinking about how on smallville whenever anyone is caught in a meteor shower or whenever someone has had something happen to them which gave them abilities it's always Green meteor rock that's involved. I was just thinking that I reckon it might be cool to see what happens if it's a different meteor rock that's involved such as Red, Blue or Black. For example we know that if there's green meteor rock between Clark and someone else and lightning or electrical current is added his powers get passed on to that other person but what would happen if different coloured rock is involved?

Anybody got any ideas about how the different meteor rocks could effect people?
If you were on the writing staff what ideas could you come up with?

I thought up an episode idea about a scientist who goes around scavanging all sorts of different types of meteor rock and he melts them all down into a liquid mixture to experiment with it and something goes wrong and he ends up with all these different crazy abilities like being able to shoot kryptonite lightning from his hands so for example he shoots green krypto lightning at Clark and it seriously injures him or he shoots blue lightning and it temporarily takes clarks powers or he shoots red lightning and clark turns nasty for a short while. or maybe it not lightning, maybe he can shoot different Krypto vision from his eyes.

Anybody else got any ideas?

If I were a Smallville writer, I would've been fired by now because I wouldn't want meteor freaks, convenient concussions and repetitive dead end angst that doesn't lead to anything. Instead, I'd want character development that actually builds off of previous episodes and wouldn't pretend that large mess plot holes were answered during the commercial break.

Heroes wouldn't want me either. For one, I wouldn't have made Peter that powerful. I liked the temporary power by proximity. Maybe he can keep the powers of relatives. Or what if he got to keep a power if the person with the power died near him? That would have the potential to make Peter go all Sylar.

And secondly, I'd want some damn extras in scenes. Why is Candice the only person guarding Sylar? A big superpowered battle takes place in a downtown city plaza and no one is around to see it?

You're asking for ideas regarding a show that has no ideas. In fact, you're asking for ideas for one of the show's biggest crutches. It'd be like a thread called "Create your own 24 mole." So what do you expect?

Just as a lark, id like to see the lightning rock transfer thing but with like red or orange, and have clarks gender change for an episode. Talk about your Lana anxiety!

Kryptonite every week was just insane. That episode where Lex was being haunted by some guy his girlfriend killed... And i was thinking "Dreamwalking changling zombie" and the doppleganger just turned out to be some guy that just looked similar who the real big bad bumped into by accident he'd found washing dishes in a truckstop.

It was only season 1 where there was meteor freaks every week, the later seasons were much more interesting.
